As Save the Children International (STCI), we show maximum sensitivity to ensure the confidentiality and security of personal data of all our customers and visitors in accordance with the Republic of Turkey Constitution, 6698 No. Personal Data Protection Law and other relevant legislation. Your personal data is processed by us as “Data Custodian” in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law no 6698 and within the frame specified below.
1. Who is responsible for the security and processing of your personal data?
As STCI, we are responsible for the security of all personal data you provide to us as in the capacity of “data custodian” in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698.

2. For What purposes is your personal data processed?
Your personal data is processed in order to fulfill the liabilities imposed on us by the Turkish Commercial Code (6102) and Tax Procedure Law (213).
In addition to fulfilling our legal liabilities, your personal data shall be provided at the highest level of service, your next service and product request, profile registration, fast and accurate determination of the appropriate services and products for you, our most important principle is “customer satisfaction” for the purpose of supply.
Moreover, your personal data shall be processed to improve the products and services offered to you, to announce our products and campaigns, to plan and manage management and communication activities and strategies correctly, to improve the services offered on the website, to correct the errors on the site, to communicate with you when you make a request or complaint, to manage your requests and complaints, to improve service quality, to ensure that third parties fulfill their technical, logistical and similar functions as a service provider on our behalf and to ensure that your payments are made quickly and securely when necessary.
3. To whom and for what purposes can your personal data be transferred?

The data stored on this website is hosted in Smart Idea’s servers or servers located in independent cloud data centers that meet International Data Center standards by taking all security precautions. Access to the respective servers is the sole responsibility of the STCI and it is not possible to transfer the data to the host provider for the purpose of hosting and securing it. All necessary precautions are taken to prevent unauthorized access to the servers.
Mandatory persons to be shared by law
In the event that STCI is required to fulfill its legal obligations, sharing is explicitly proposed in the law or if there is a legal / administrative order issued in accordance with the law, your personal data may be transferred only to the person or institution concerned.
Consulting and auxiliary service providers
In order to protect the rights of STCI and / or your rights and fulfill the legal obligations, and in the event that data transfer is required for the fulfillment of these objectives, third parties with whom we receive support in areas such as storage, archiving, information technology support, security, call center and so on, your personal data may be transferred to business partners, banks, financial institutions, attorneys’ offices that we get support in the fields of law, tax and similar areas, consultancy firms and other related parties and authorized institutions and organizations where transfer is required.
Agencies and advertisers
Some of the personal data may only be shared with advertisers in anonymized form, together with information from other users, in order that the ads can be tailored to the target audience. Anonymous data is information that cannot be matched with you, our visitors / customers, does not include your personally identifiable information or identity. Your confidentiality is guaranteed in anonymized data.
In the event that your personal data shall be transferred abroad, even though there is not enough protection in the foreign country where your personal data shall be transferred to and if there is not enough protection, STCI shall ensure that the necessary measures can be taken by the institution to which your personal data shall be transferred abroad, and whether the necessary measures can be taken in order to ensure adequate protection. Your personal data shall not be transferred abroad if there is any doubt that it cannot be protected.
4. By which methods and for what legal reasons is your personal data collected?
Your personal data is collected through the forms you fill out on our website, the mail, e-mail, fax and similar media you send to us, the voice calls you make with us or the calls you make in our company. Your personal data collected in accordance with the nature of the data, in accordance with the above-mentioned purposes to provide our services and in this context to fulfill our contractual and legal responsibilities in a complete and accurate Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, Tax Procedure Law No. 213, Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection, Law No. 6698 Personal Data Protection Act, especially the provisions of the legislation imposed on us to meet the obligations to meet.
In this context, the legal reasons based on the collection of your personal data are processed in accordance with the nature of the data, explicit consent, expressly proposed in the laws, compulsory processing of data for the execution of the contract, compulsory for fulfillment of our legal obligations, and compulsory data processing for the legitimate interests of the data officer.

In the event that goods or services are received by us, it shall be processed in accordance with Article 230 of the Tax Procedure Law No. 213 and the following articles and Article 82 of the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102. (Art. 5/2-a of Law No. 6698)
Provided that you subscribe to the websites we own, even though you have not purchased any goods or services from us, it is processed because it is mandatory to process data for the fulfillment of the contract and the services related to the membership contract. (Art. 5/2-c of Law No. 6698)
E-mail, phone and other contact information
In the case of you receiving services from us, you shall be informed about the goods and services you have received, establishing communication between the parties, renewing licenses and so on where it is necessary to process the personal data of the parties to the contract for the performance of the contractual relationship. (Art. 5/2-c of Law No. 6698)
In the case of you becoming a member of the websites we own, even though you have not received any services from us, it is processed because data processing is mandatory for the performance of the contract in order to perform the related membership agreement and the services related to the membership agreement. (Art. 5/2-c of Law No. 6698)
Provided that you register for our newsletters, you shall only be processed for your explicit consent. (Art. 5/1 of Law No. 6698)
Telephone conversations with us are processed in a short-term recording for the purpose of ensuring customer satisfaction, resolution of potential disputes and ensuring security, provided that data processing is compulsory for the legitimate interests of the data officer, without prejudice to the fundamental rights and freedoms of the person concerned. In order to provide security in our locations, camera recording is taken. These records are processed on the condition that it is compulsory to process data for the legitimate interests of the data officer, provided that they do not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the person concerned. 5. For How Long is Your Personal Data Stored?
Your personal data is kept for a maximum period of 10 (ten) years in accordance with Article 182 of the Turkish Commercial Code and Article 146 of the Turkish Code of Obligations unless the legislation provides for a longer period. Camera recordings are stored for a maximum of 2 years.
6. What Rights Do You Have Concerning Your Personal Data?
In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698:

In your request, the right / claim you want to use along with your identity information should be clearly indicated and all necessary information and documents should be included in your request and necessary explanations should be made.
Requests submitted to us and bearing the necessary qualifications shall be concluded within 30 (thirty) days according to the nature of the request and the result shall be communicated to you in writing or electronically in accordance with the feedback procedure you have chosen in your request.
